AC Hotel by Marriott Belfast celebrated its sixth birthday by reopening its stunning outdoor dining area, The Terrace, allowing guests to experience its beautiful waterfront location while enjoying a new tapas-inspired menu.
Among the rejuvenated menu of dishes are Padrón peppers, succulent calamari, Antipasti sharing boards and delicious pizzas, all evoking a sense of sunshine and ushering in a new season for the hotel.
Renowned Chef Jean-Christophe Novelli, the man behind the menu at both Novelli’s restaurant and The Terrace at AC Hotel by Marriott Belfast, made a welcome return to the venue for an exclusive sixth birthday engagement including — An Evening with Jean-Christophe Novelli — when guests had an opportunity to indulge in the new menu while sipping on signature cocktails.
Dubbed the nation’s favourite French chef, Jean-Christophe Novelli hosted this special celebration and talked to guests about his passion for food and recent appearances on Cooking with the Stars and MasterChef Australia.
With the arrival of the new spring season, the AC Hotel by Marriott Belfast has reopened The Terrace. This means guests can enjoy tapas-inspired sharing plates and pizza every day of the week and indulge in The Terrace BBQ Thursdays, held every last Thursday of the month. Live entertainment will enhance the experience on weekends and BBQ Thursdays, creating an inviting atmosphere for the al fresco dining experience.
For those seeking a quick escape, The Terrace Airstream has also made a comeback, serving up refreshments and snacks daily. Whether enjoyed on-the-go or savoured in the comfort of the vibrant space, The Terrace is the perfect spot to recharge and rejuvenate whilst enjoying breathtaking views of Belfast’s iconic Titanic Quarter. The Terrace will also open for special events, offering bespoke packages to those who want to mark a special occasion or hold a private event.
Paula Stuart, General Manager at AC Hotel by Marriott Belfast, said: “We are delighted to reopen The Terrace as it signals a new era for the hotel and for our food offering. As we celebrate six years of providing excellent hospitality, we are thrilled to welcome back award-winning Chef Jean-Christophe Novelli to our venue. The traditional symbol for a sixth anniversary is iron, representing strength and durability, and this symbolism is not lost on us. AC Hotel by Marriott Belfast has cemented itself in Belfast’s skyline and here we are six years on ensuring our guests, old and new, can enjoy a distinctive dining experience. We welcome everyone to join us in celebrating six years of strength at AC Hotel by Marriott Belfast.”
