Marc Porcar, CEO of QR Code Generator PRO S.L said: “Warmer temperatures make ice cream a perfect, refreshing treat to cool down, and it can also be the perfect addition to an apple crumble and custard.
“Ice cream is a long-standing tradition in the UK, evoking memories of childhood, family outings, and holidays by the seaside.
“Whether it be during celebrations, gatherings, and leisurely summer days, ice cream is a sweet treat enjoyed by many.
“Summer is the peak season for ice cream brand promotions. Generally events centred around ice cream increase visibility and popularity, being popular worldwide.
“Ben & Jerry’s is famous for its chunky mix-ins and creative flavour combinations, whilst Häagen-Dazs is known for its rich, creamy texture and premium ingredients.
“Meanwhile there are several areas in the UK that are famous for their ice creams including Cornwall, known for brands like Kelly’s of Cornwall and Roskilly’s.
“Devon, similar to Cornwall is known for its dairy farms and high-quality ice cream, and in Scotland, areas like Aberdeenshire are known for brands like Mackie’s of Scotland, which uses fresh milk and cream from their own cows.”
