Christmas Comes Early As 12 Deals Of Christmas Kicks Off With More Savings Than Ever

Shoppers are hearing jingle bells early this year as SPAR, EUROSPAR, ViVO and ViVOXTRA NI’s highly anticipated 12 Deals of Christmas returns this week.

Launching with a double deal, Henderson Group has invested £6 million into the campaign this year, with even more savings and products available than ever before.

Week one is now live, with Dromona Medium and Mature Cheddar (350g) available for £1.80, and Golden Cow Easi-spread (500g) now just £1.35.

Stephanie Tares from SPAR NI says they have been mindful about what matters to shoppers as the most expensive quarter of the year kicks in, with the run up to Christmas and all the spending that goes with it comes along.

“This is now the 9th year of the successful 12 Deals of Christmas campaign and we are looking forward to even more variety and flavours of different products, double deals and extra surprises that will be available as we countdown to Christmas,” says Stephanie.

Stephanie continued; “Our first week sees a double deal with three high demand, fresh and local dairy products available that can now be purchased at even better value for one week.”

The 2023 12 Deals Campaign proved popular for shoppers across Northern Ireland, with sales rising throughout the deals by 29% on 2022, meaning yet another record year of sales during the campaign period.

Over 500 SPAR, EUROSPAR, ViVO and ViVOXTRA branded stores offer the 12 Deals of Christmas campaign to their local shoppers, with retailers benefiting from an integrated marketing campaign featuring TV ads, adshels and 48-sheets, plus additional radio and an extensive digital and social media activation throughout the duration of the campaign to drive awareness, footfall and sales.

SPAR and EUROSPAR branded stores across NI are helping shoppers save even more on everyday household essentials in the run up to Christmas as one lucky shopper will win £300 each week with the 12 Deals of Christmas Cash Dash with Q Radio, including a special giveaway the week before Christmas.

The 12 Deals of Christmas Cash Dash will play out across Q Radio’s breakfast show Monday – Wednesday every week. In total, £6,000 will be given away throughout the campaign.
