NIHF Raises £862.03 For Northern Ireland Children’s Hospice

The Northern Ireland Hotels Federation (NIHF) is proud to announce that its Annual Golf Day, held on Tuesday 14th May 2024 at the Doubletree by Hilton Templepatrick, successfully raised £862.03 for the Northern Ireland Children’s Hospice, a charity dedicated to providing specialist care and support to children with life-limiting conditions and their families.

In addition to the funds raised during the event, the NIHF matched the monies collected, recognising the critical importance of the hospice’s work in providing essential services to children and their families across Northern Ireland.

Eddie McKeever, President of the NIHF, expressed his gratitude for the generous contributions made by members:

“We’re thrilled that our members gave so generously to support the Northern Ireland Children’s Hospice. This charity relies entirely on local donations to enable it to provide the support that it does to children and families in need. I know what a difference their services can make.”

Julie Martin, Community Outreach Fundraiser for the Northern Ireland Children’s Hospice, shared her appreciation for the support:

“At the Northern Ireland Children’s Hospice, we believe that every moment counts for children with life-limiting conditions and their families. The support from the NIHF and its members means so much to us and helps ensure that we can continue to provide the vital care and support that our children and their families depend on. We are incredibly grateful to NIHF President, Eddie McKeever, and all those who contributed to this generous donation.”

The event’s success demonstrates the strong community spirit and the commitment to supporting essential healthcare services within Northern Ireland.
