Translink has been awarded Investors in People (IIP) ‘We Invest in People’ accreditation.
Given its complexity and the diverse range of activities that Translink undertakes across the length and breadth of Northern Ireland, this is a significant achievement for the organisation.
The accreditation means principles and practices around supporting people are in place and everyone understands how to use them to make work better.
Chris Conway, Translink’s Chief Executive, said: “We know that our people make the difference, and this recognition is a testament to their collective hard work, dedication and commitment to creating an exceptional workplace.
“Investors in People supports organisations to measure how they are doing at leading and supporting their employees. Achieving the IIP award is a significant milestone, reflecting our commitment to high performance through our outstanding people.”
Chris added that Investors in People was not just a celebration of current achievements but also a steppingstone towards achieving future goals.
“We were pleased to see that the accreditation process highlighted that the Translink Spirit is very much alive, with our people recognising and living our values in the way that they work.”
Paul Devoy, CEO of Investors in People, said: “We’d like to congratulate Translink. Being accredited with ‘We Invest in People’ is a remarkable effort for any organisation and places Translink in fine company with a host of organisations that understand the value of people.”
