US Open Champion Bryson DeChambeau Celebrates Epic Victory With A Solid Gold Samsung Phone

DeChambeau commissioned the £7,500 phone to commemorate his victory over Rory McIlroy

US Open champion Bryson DeChambeau has celebrated his epic victory over Rory Mcllroy with a custom made solid gold phone.

The phone is the first ever 24k gold Samsung produced by iDesign Gold (IDG), a company that produces bespoke phones for sports stars around the world.

The specially commissioned Samsung phone was delivered to Bryson DeChambeau at the LIV Golf Tournament in Andalucia, Spain over the weekend.

The phone, worth £7,500 has been engraved to mark the 124th US open where Bryson conquered one of golf’s greatest tests at Pinehurst beating Rory McIlroy earlier this year. It also has an image on his screen saver of Bryson lifting the US Open trophy.

Bryson, 30, nicknamed ‘the scientist’ due to his interest in data analysis and physics, commissioned the phone to celebrate his US Open win, after Rory McIlroy choked on the final extraordinary, historic day at Pinehurst.
